Riad Mayo offers an entirely private estate for your wedding — a 5-hectare property set among olive groves and gardens in the Ourika Valley, 45 minutes from Marrakesh. The house, riad courtyard, gardens, pool terraces and outdoor spaces are yours exclusively for the duration of your stay.
Whether you envision a candlelit Moroccan ceremony beneath the olive trees, a grand reception around the pool, or an intimate gathering of your closest people, every element of your wedding can be shaped around you.
Our team works alongside you from the earliest stages of planning through to the last dance, coordinating every detail so the day unfolds exactly as you imagined.

The estate offers multiple outdoor ceremony settings — beneath the ancient olive trees, along the garden terraces, or beside the pool at golden hour. Indoor spaces within the riad provide an intimate alternative for smaller ceremonies.
Receptions can be arranged across the estate's outdoor grounds, with long candlelit tables, lanterns strung through the gardens, and the Atlas Mountains as backdrop.
All dining is prepared by Chef Rabia and her team, whose cuisine draws from the deep traditions of Moroccan cooking — slow-cooked tagines, wood-fired breads, fragrant couscous and elaborate mezze — alongside Italian and Asian-inspired dishes.
Wedding menus are composed entirely around your group. Whether you prefer a formal seated dinner, a festive shared feast, or a cocktail reception followed by a late-night banquet, every aspect of the dining experience can be tailored.
The natural beauty of the estate — jasmine-scented gardens, ancient olive trees, terracotta walls and tiled courtyards — forms the foundation of your wedding aesthetic. Our team can assist in coordinating décor, florals and lighting to complement the setting.
Evenings at Riad Mayo take on a rhythm of their own. From traditional Moroccan folk musicians and Gnawa performers to contemporary DJs and acoustic sets, the entertainment can be shaped entirely around the atmosphere you want to create.
The estate accommodates up to 30 overnight guests across 8 bedrooms in the main riad and 4 private bungalows. Your group stays together, with the full estate reserved exclusively for your wedding party for the duration of your stay.
A minimum of 3 nights applies for all wedding bookings. Most couples choose to arrive the day before the ceremony, allowing time to settle in, rehearse and enjoy the estate at their own pace.
