Set within their own secluded garden enclave, the bungalows are grouped together while remaining individually positioned to preserve privacy and tranquillity. Each opens directly onto its own garden setting, creating a quiet retreat away from the main house.
Where the Riad rooms share a house, the bungalows exist at their own pace. Mornings start with birdsong and garden light through the shuttered door. Evenings are quieter, at a gentle remove from the common spaces, with the dark sky of the Ourika Valley above.
Each bungalow is distinguished by its own Tadelakt colour palette, carried through both the bedroom and its private en-suite, giving every space a distinct character while remaining cohesive with the estate.
Like all accommodation at Riad Mayo, the bungalows are only available as part of a full estate booking and cannot be rented independently.
Each bungalow is built around a single generous bedroom — with hand-painted Moroccan furniture, warm tadelakt plaster walls and floor-to-ceiling shuttered doors that open directly onto the estate grounds.
The private ensuite bathrooms carry the same craftsmanship as those in the Riad: hand-painted ceramic basins, sculpted tadelakt surfaces and Moroccan mirror work throughout.
Each bungalow features a convertible queen bed that can be arranged as one double bed or separated into two individual beds, together with a sofa bed. Bedding configurations can be adapted according to each group's requirements and confirmed at the time of enquiry.
Gathered within their own private garden enclave yet individually positioned, the bungalows are arranged so that each one feels entirely separate — from each other and from the main house. The paths between them wind through olive trees, ornamental grasses and flowering plants tended year-round.
At the centre of the bungalow garden sits a Moroccan star-shaped fountain surrounded by white lanterns — a focal point for arriving and departing, and a quiet landmark for late evenings outside.
Unlike traditional riads, Riad Mayo does not sell individual rooms or bungalows. Every booking encompasses the complete estate — the Riad, the four bungalows, the pool, gardens, and all facilities — exclusively for your group.
